Quin's Priorities for Cody
I am focused on the issues that truly matter to our community — not partisan politics or extreme agendas. We need real, principled leadership to represent us in Cheyenne.
Protecting Public Lands
Wyoming’s public lands are part of who we are. They are not for sale. The land needs to be valued, protected, and cared for so it may enrich the lives of future Wyomingites.
As your Representative, I will stand up for responsible land policies that protect access, respect local voices, and ensure we can continue to hunt, fish, camp, ride, work, and enjoy the land we call home.
Supporting Responsible Economic Development
The role of the government should be to support Wyoming businesses and aid in economic development – NOT to unnecessarily restrict growth. When Wyoming’s economy wins, we all win, enjoying a higher quality of life and a decreased burden on Wyoming families.
Like many people in Cody, I understand what it takes to run a business, create jobs, and support our local economy. I’ve seen firsthand how decisions made by the government can either help our community grow or make it harder for local businesses to succeed.
I will represent us with responsible leadership— steady, pragmatic decision-making that manages wisely, invests strategically, and safeguards Wyoming's financial future.
Defending Constitutional Freedoms
Our Second Amendment is sacred to Wyoming’s way of life. Responsible gun ownership is not just a political issue here. It is tied to personal freedom, self-reliance, hunting, protection, and the traditions that have shaped our state for generations.
I will defend the constitutional rights of law-abiding Wyoming citizens without apology. I believe the government should respect the God-given freedoms recognized by the Constitution and protect the rights of individuals, families, and communities.
Strengthening Education
Wyoming’s children deserve strong schools, great teachers, and real opportunities to succeed. I believe education is one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our state.
Strong local schools help prepare students for college, careers, trades, military service, entrepreneurship, and life right here in Wyoming. If we want the next generation to stay, return, and raise their own families here, we need to make sure they have the tools and opportunities to thrive.
I will support policies that strengthen education, respect parents, support teachers, and help prepare Wyoming students for the future.
Fiscal Responsibility and Government Accountability
Wyoming’s state budget should be approached with diligence and respect for the people who fund it. Our taxpayer dollars are hard-earned, and the government has a responsibility to spend them wisely. The role of government is to support our citizens with transparency and accountability.
Fiscal responsibility means doing the research, asking the right questions, listening to the people, and making thoughtful decisions that protect Wyoming’s future. Again, representation is THE JOB, and it is not optional.
I will work to keep government accountable, protect taxpayers, and make sure decisions in Cheyenne reflect the needs of the people of House District 24.
Making Tourism Work for Park County
Tourism is one of Park County’s greatest strengths, but it should always work for the people who live here first.
The lodging tax is paid mostly by visitors, bringing in outside dollars that help fund our roads, services, and economy while taking pressure off local families.
We’re the East Gate to Yellowstone National Park, home to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and the only town with a rodeo every night all summer. Those advantages belong to us and bring visitors from around the world. Let’s use them—invest in our community, grow tourism the right way, and make sure it delivers for the people of Park County first.
Restoring Real Representation
Representation is not optional. It is the job.
I am running because too many people in Park County feel ignored by politics in Cheyenne. I believe elected officials should listen, show up, answer questions, and put constituents ahead of extreme agendas.
House District 24 deserves a representative who works hard, stays accessible, and focuses on practical Wyoming solutions. I am running to bring real, responsible representation back to Park County.
