I believe that preserving the liberties guaranteed by our Constitution is one of our greatest responsibilities as Americans. The principles of personal freedom, limited government, and individual responsibility were instilled in me from a young age and shaped the values I carry today. I have worked to pass those same ideals on to my children, teaching them the importance of protecting the freedoms generations of Americans have fought to preserve. Our constitutional rights are not simply traditions to be remembered, but commitments that must be defended and carried forward for future generations.
That commitment to safeguarding our freedoms was one of the reasons I chose to seek a seat in the legislature. I believe elected officials have a duty to protect the rights of the people they represent and remain faithful to the principles on which our nation was founded. Whether I am fighting to strengthen property rights, standing with our veterans who sacrificed for our country, or defending our cherished Second Amendment rights, I approach every issue with that responsibility in mind. I will continue working to honor the vision of our Founding Fathers by ensuring that the freedoms we enjoy today remain secure for generations to come.
